The expansive pool area and serene garden created a lovely environment for relaxation after daily excursions. The limited dining options nearby after 8 pm felt inconvenient during our stay.

The rooms and hotel overall need updating!!! Air conditioning ineffective in warm weather!!! Housekeeping noise in the morning was annoying!!! Limited local dining choices is frustrating!!!

I ate at a good restaurant for dinner. It was neat and had a spectacular view of the castle. The location in a local area was particularly good and amazing and there were the Sunday market and a market nearby. Besides, the property was 2 km away from a Gothic chapel.

Good intentions, flawed execution

The view from my room was very nice making mornings nice. Staff were attentive and genuinely helpful which added a personal touch to the experience.

Air conditioning was ineffective leading to discomfort in hot weather. Restaurant service had delays causing frustration when dining.

Excellent service provided by the owner himself, excellent hotel and personal and fantastic breakfast. Excellent location and rooms ! Stay there next time you are in the area !

You should know that my husband slipped and fell in the shower cutting his head open. He is very athletic and has never fallen in a shower or anything like it. Perhaps you should put a warning, easily visible, helping other travelers in the future.

The staff was super helpful, and the pool and garden were a nice touch. The view from my room was a highlight, exceeded my expectations!

The room was comfortable with an very nice view of Amboise from the first floor. The beds were really nice, and it felt clean and quiet at night. The bathroom was decent-sized, and I liked that it had a safe and a mini-fridge. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool, a bit tough on hot nights.

The size of the double bed is on the border of what you could call spacious. The floor carpets in some areas and rooms are also a bit outdated.

This hotel was very friendly and helpful. We can in late for breakfast and they still let us use their buffet. We had a large group- 7 people with two young children. It's not walking distance but the location is nice. We had to go in to town to do our laundry- overall I would use this hotel again!
